Who Are We?
Sunshine of Hounslow was formed in 2012 by a local resident, Sharnjeet Bhalla (pictured). The group was set up with a purpose of supporting isolated men and women in the community through health and wellbeing interventions. Sharnjeet Bhalla the Chairperson and Founder said: "We welcome any person of any age to come and visit us, have fun, meet new people and try out new things!"
We provide the following services in addition to our regular community activities such as: Bereavement Counselling, provide organicfood (raw and cooked) to people with cancer and alzheimer's.
We also provide English to Punjabi/Hindi/Urdu/Gujarati, Swahili interpretation service.

On Friday 30th November 2018 Sunshine of Hounslow's chair Sharnjeet Bhalla was awarded Mayor of Heston West 2018/19. She will help represent the local community in partnership with the Heston West Big Local and other community groups for the next year and most likely the rest of her life.
